How good is the camera on iPhone 4? I had a crazy idea during a vacation in Singapore last month. I kept the film and digital camera in my bag, and started using the iPhone 4 to take picture. I shot everything included street, landscape, portrait, and vacation photo. I ended up with a total of 398 photos taken with iPhone 4.

It was an enjoyable vacation. I have no worried about aperture value, shutter speed, ISO, or white balance. I think iPhone camera is good enough for capturing memory and beautiful vacation scene. It is also good enough for street photography. At least, this is what I think, a reflection from my mind at this moment.

I keep asking myself lately, why bother to invest heavily on camera gear if I am not planning to generate income from photography? Why burden myself to carry heavy gear during a vacation? Shouldn’t we enjoy the holiday with peace of mind?
